Our goal is to bring economic benefits to the people of the State of Missouri by helping Missouri businesses to sell their products and services in Japan and China and by inviting Japanese and Chinese companies to invest in Missouri.
- Helping Missouri Companies Export Goods and Services to Japan and China
Our goal is to help new to market companies capture profitable business opportunities in the region and established players to grow their businesses. With new to market firms, we aim to identify and evaluate opportunities to sell your goods and services over here. If there is a good opportunity, we will help you to formulte an effective strategy and to identify and connect with strong local partners. With established firms, we will help you to identify new opportunities and channels through which to sell your products as well as to solve any major local problems to the best of our ability through consulting and advocacy services. In the end, selling more "Made in Missouri" brings revenues and jobs back to Missouri.
- Bringing Japanese and Chinese Investment to Missouri
Another objective of our office is to attract Japanese and Chinese investors to bring their capital and technology to Missouri. We work in particular with firms interested in greenfield investments - buying land or renting office space, building a factory or establishing a business, and hiring Missourians for jobs. In addition to the jobs created by newly-opened factories, investment also brings benefits to Missouri in terms of all of the services required to launch and maintain a new enterprise. |
